While
volunteering at the VA in preparation to apply to OT school I met an inspiring
OT, Julia. She showed me how to interact with clients, build rapport, and think
outside the box. Before I started I was still on the fence to whether I wanted
to pursue a career in OT, but Julia’s passion, ability to work with clients,
and calm demeanor solidified my decision. She takes time out of her day to put
the clients first.
